If you've already started your Retin A cream or Retin-A MicroGel treatment, now is time to know a little more about the skin care products that will you make the most of your treatment.

Not all over-the-counter skin care products you've used in the past works well with Retin A.

Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser

You need a gentle, mild and non medicated cleanser to wash your face. Neutrogena® Fresh Foaming Cleansers what OrthoNeutrogena consider the best.

Important note If you decide to use another cleanser, avoid benzoyl peroxide -based products. Benzoyl peroxide neutralizes Tretinoin ( active ingredient in Retin A) if used simultaneous.

Stay away of skin care products containing astringents, alcohols or spices. They might irritate your skin.

Neutrogena Healthy Defense SPF 30 Daily Moisturizer

Your moisturizer must be non-irritating, hypoallergenic, fragrance-free and non-comedogenic. Also, it is mandatory to have a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of 15 or higher (better 30).

Your skin is already exposed to trauma and sun may make it worst. Retin A help scars to heal faster, but be aware to protect your skin from sun light.

If you don't wear moisturizer, now you have to use at least a oil-free sun screen SPF 15 or higher.
